Hi! I'm Darrell and I've taken the plunge to learn the keyboard without any musical background for about 1 full year now. ( of actually trying to take it seriously )
I definitely consider myself an amateur still but spent a lot of time with my chords, learning rhythms and a bunch of music theory.. with a few songs under my belt too! I know that playing with a band or a singer definitely helps in tackling what I need to know so just gonna take a shot in the dark around here and see if anyone ( ranging from amateur to maybe a bit more seasoned ) is willing to jam sometime? I'll be keen to play or figure some songs out with a fresh drummer, guitarist or a singer and I think it'll be fun to learn from whatever genres and types of songs we can share. My frequented genres are mostly indie, alt rock and oldies and love artists like Radiohead, Honne, NIKI, The Marias, MCR and The Killers!
