I'm 22 year old bassist with about 5 years worth of experience. I've been in a couple of fairly long term bands (excluding random jams with other musicians).
My primary influences are Duff Mckagan and Nikki Sixx in terms of both playing and writing (my old band penned about 10 tracks, with 3 written by me).
Ideally, I'd like to play in a hard rock/rock n' roll band (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver kinda stuff). But I'm pretty open towards the following genres.
Hard Rock (obviously)
Alternative (Stereophonics, Killers... Especially Stereophonics)
Punk (Blink 182, Sum 41...)
Coldplay (whatever their genre is - I honestly can't tell... soft rock?)
