i'm not a big fan of starter packs but the Ibanez jumpstart package offers a good bargain.

wah! ... got free headphones somemore ... sick ... but ibanez has good quality control ... my friend has a ibanez starter pack bass and it plays as though it was worth 5 times it's value ... but that one is hit and go lah .. he was lucky to find a good bass that is well-built. ...

i'm not too keen with the guitar version though, the bass version is more than alright, especially the bass itself.

If u want a cheap bass u can go check out the 2nd hand shops if u dun mind... There are quite good if u r just playing bass on n off... also around $200...

there's one near peace center i think... i know the place but i 4got the shopping center is called what... PS there one...
