Bass recomendation

Hi i am looking for something that sound like the mm stingray but cheaper. Any recomendation?

I was looking into OLP also but it seems like its hard to find now.

OLP closed shop in 2009. Still a few new pieces hanging out in shops here and there, but they're getting more rare day by day.

Hm, I think for OLP you'd have to get secondhand because they stopped production a few years back.

get an ibanez atk. a used one costs around 300 max. Its the closest thing to a stingray in a passive bass

Ya, that was the one i called. They say they don carry it. Any other bass your would recommend that has similar tone and humbucker pickup?

that's rather unfortunate because i saw it there while hunting for guitar spares (it was a black one)...

i wouldn't say the (discontinued) RD300 (above) is strictly a sting ray copy but it does cover that territory & more. fresh units are still availble at swee lee but in limited colours.
