Hi, I recently graudated with a Diploma in bass from the Institute of Contemporary Music in London. Now I don't want to get your expectations too high, but it provided a solid foundation for bass playing.
As for the lesson itself, I will split the theory and practicals for better absorption. I also aim to get through a set number of lessons with you depending on your skill and knowledge (roughly about 10 lessons). I also prefer to help you understand music as a whole in relation to bass playing. I’m not really a by the book teacher, I much prefer to provide grounding and concepts rather than the technical playing itself. The reality is that once you have the grounding, self discipline and practice is pretty much the only way forward.
Anyway, I charge 20 per hour at my place and 30 at yours. Preferably in the North areas (from Yishun to Serangoon thereabouts). Also, I much prefer teaching begginers, but intermediate is fine too. Week nights are generally ok, but not Thursdays. Weekends are good except Sunday afternoons. Contact me, Ewen 96182088 if you have any concerns or questions.
