Hi. How do i obtain that bass growl sound mostly heard on modern jazz and funk songs? Mainly how Jaco sounds like. I read it is mainly to do with the mids.
up your mids, and maybe low mids, to taste. if you're looking for Jaco tones, you're going to need a fretless jazz and play with the bridge pickup only, as for EQ i have no idea cuz i gave up after realising my fretless didn't have enough mwah to get there.
