Hey guys, i just wondering how many bands have u guys created or join in total???
Usually in the band, who causes the band to break up or disrupt the playing of the band??

BUT big warning, PLS DUN MENTION NAMES!!!!
GIV NICKNAME!!!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well for me i have total create n join ard 11 bands which none seems to be striving at least one band of it that has perform twice at gas haus( NOT RED BAR). Well for me, the drummer is the one that giving problems. Well from wat i experience wif all my drummers, they tend to hav more than 2 bands. Drummers tat concentrate on one band only is really rare for me. So when we jam , it takes more than a month for them to learn. They giv lot of funny excuses like( ' i long time nvr play drum' but actually every week we jam once),( ' i haven listen ah e song' ,Then y did i send e song to u for),( ' ARGHH!!! my leg cramp ah sori ah i not in gd shape tday' den y dun u see a doctor),( 'ARgh e drum s*cks' actually u s*cks). Anyway if any of u think its u im talking bout........den no offence like some rockers say ' those who eat the mc spicy, will feel the spicy'

WELL im not against drummer as i'm myself play drum but im interested more on guitar.
So guys how bout u???

PEACE NO WAR!!!!
Wanna hear ur story too........

no worries!

I got kicked out of the first band I played in because I was useless as a musician and a pain in the ass to deal with. (I still am)

I quit the second band I played in (which I formed) because we weren't going anywhere, and I figure I was probably going to get kicked out anyway. I was far too bossy with them and they probably hated me. My guitarist and vocalist didn't really get along too, I think.

My third band was and still is, magic. :)

TS,please don't take into disregard that drummer always have the most strenuous work. Especially when you play those drum-crazy kinda music(death, metal, punk,Tool :P) So yeah,if they say they have leg cramp, I guess they just had a tiring day..you might want to talk to the drummer about why his leg always gets cramp. Might want to recommend salt.

i've played in two bands only so far

my first band's vocalist/guitarist's ego got a little too big when it came to the band

we had disagreements over which direction we should be heading musically

although we dont meet to jam anymore. we arent officially disbanded and we're still good friends outside the band (the whole band is like a clique in school)

enjoyed the good times we had together when we were gigging but its all over now sadly

im loving the band that im playing in now. we just have so much chemistry <333

I've gone through 4 bands now, all of the previous 3 disbanded because i quit, i quit the first one because people didnt turn up, the second one again because people turned up late and shit, 3rd one i disagreed with the musical direction, oh well, at least i feel very much in charge of the current band. Yes, i also happen to be a real ass to deal with.

Hey aenimic, anyway my band played songs like pop punk, Do u think its tiring??? or mayb its just my drummer limit ???

read this..................

well for me..

I have played for 6 bands in total..

1st one lost contact gradually(they fell for the evils of the mlm..)heheeh

2nd one just stop playing...

3rd is the best, we all can joke wif each other to the point of f uped nonsense..

for the 4th band, is where each of us come out wif originals...

the rest oso M.I.A...

yeah, thats about it...

Before you ask him to come for jamming next time. Tell him to be physically prepared, because it'll be tiring. Who knows, maybe your drummer is that weak or is just tired from his daily work. Who knows right? But yeah, try asking him why is he tired always and still tell him that he would still need to play for the band. There's no 100% method in getting the best out of your drummers..so if he complains to much. Kick the a-hole out. Don't stereotype all drummers though.

i formed 2
join 1

2 are all just having fun
1 was a great drummer intro to me

they will dame good at first.we give and take with each other..
then after few shows>>they become more of a boastful/

they can't handle last min stuff
well,if only they will fronted by a good leader

i do things/i don't expect in return...but yeah..they dive into the directions which i felt it's stupid and no link
and also..i can't give them commitment anymore..lot's of stuff happen

so yeah...spoke to them and agree to help them finish the last few shows

in the end>>they are just people who are not friendly>>

when i think back...
it's my fault as im getting busy and busy

Used to have a few bands before that..
Played various genres.. But none had the full commitment..

So eventually formed a one man drone band..
Now forming another Funeral doom band here in Singapore..
Maybe the first and definitely not the last..

honestly, my drummer used to be good in my opinion me. Since my school do not hav lot of drummer, he started to boast, dress up and rebond His hair.....................since then his drumming sucks. But hey aenemic, im not stereotyping the drummers, like i told u, im a drummer myself.......

TS did u start this thread to 'bash' ur ex drummer? i got lots of issue with my ex bandmates, but never will i 'bash' them publicly.. its just not nice..:D

Anyway my history is 6 bands, all dis-banded due to either commitment issue or creative difference.. Now im in a old skool rock band, !DETSAW, newly form can check us out..

DUn worry cliff burton, i have lot of drummer b4 ard 4. So if they think im talking bout them then too bad. Coz like i wrote b4 , 'those who eat the mc spicy, will feel the spicy'

My first band was formed outta interest for music. Just got my first electric guitar then, was going to be kicked out cos i really sucked and all. Good thing was just that i took the critism as a good catalyst for change and a learning experience, and accepted the fact that i sucked.

My second band i was far too ambitious, i was doing lead, vocals and rhythm in a four piece that comprised of me on guitar, a bassist, drummer and keyboardist. Drummer and keyboardist were just exceedingly good in musical ability and my musicianship skyrocketed many-fold in that short span of few months of playing. Was introduced to various genres like bossanova, funk, fusion and jazz which i embraced despite being a metaller wannabe. which thank god i did.

My current band? well its good, musicianship and composition wise, as we have already done original songs in its entirety, something which i have yet to do with my other current bands or previous bands. :D

I formed a band long ago.

First one was this Thrash metal band back in the early 80s (dunno if you heard of it)...its called Metallica. However, due to alcohol and craxk commitments, i had to leave the band and pass over the reins to my ghetto mate, James.

Second one was this band called the Spice Girls. But dont really wanna elaborate.

Sorry ah, really bored
:P
