background buzz/hum when using one spot

i switched frm using batteries to using one spot about one week ago.
there was this annoying background buzz or hum. i rolled the volume knob on the guitar down, yet the hum/buzz can still be heard. i figured it has to be the one spot, coz i hav never experienced it when using batteries.

anyone in the same boat as me?

any suggestions how to make the hum disappear? i dont wanna swtich back to batteries though

sounds like a faulty one spot to me.. i have 2 but never had any problems with either one as of yet

ground ur amp.. than it'll be fine.. had the same prob last time..
