Hi All,
I know there are a couple of thread on recommendation for piano schools, however most of the recommended schools I check is offering lesson in package basis, most likely 45 minutes once a week for beginner. (Please forgive me if I missed out any thread!) I’m looking for one to one lesson advance learner.
A little background of myself, I used to learn classical piano since I was 5 years old all the way to A Level. I did few small gigs and small competitions (the usual… hahaha) during this period. However I stopped playing piano when I moved overseas for study and after that work. During this period (approximately 6 years plus) I almost did not touch piano at all and let's not talk about the theory (argh!)
Recently there is an urge to pick piano again, but I believe the conventional approach of joining a group class might not suit me. Furthermore, my work schedule is quite hectic hence I can’t commit for the same time. I’m actually looking for an individual “as and when”, there is no fixed number of lesson I need to commit.
I’m hoping to be able to find an experienced teacher who is passionate, knowledgeable (able to discuss song pieces beyond the surface), and most importantly able to tailor the approach to suit my current stage.
Any recommendation? And any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks~
