Artificially aged wood

Hi everyone!

I was at ranking just 3 days ago and i tried a Crafter acoustic guitar that COMPLETELY blew me away. At $680, it sounded like a thousand plus guitar (wayyyyy better than any guitar itried at this price)

I noticed that there was a tag on the headstock that said the key to the resonant beautiful tone was the artificially aged solid sitka spruce top.

I plan to buy this guitar, but i id like to ask first, is there a drawback to getting the rich sound just like that? Are there known problems with artificially aged woods?

Hi makien01.

I'd tested this one too. For the sound, It's real cheap for that price.

Looking at crafter's website, it say patented T-Bracing.
I think the tag on the guitar says, 'Advanced Aging'.
I looked around just like you and this is what I had found. Interesting.
