Hi guys! I have questions about classical guitar playing... guitars have same notes on same tunings. i only learn pop guitar lessons. So if when next time i got free time and go learn classical guitar will they be easier to me? i only noe flatpicking. What's the advantage of classical playing style? I want to be a all rounder player.

hmm it's always good to learn something which can enhance your guitar playing. in classical playing, finger picking is very common, and can come in useful when playing on the electric, acoustic or bass.

it will be relatively easier to go into classical guitar when you have some sort of guitar background, but it's a different ball game.

if you have been learning pop guitar then u probably had been reading off tabs and chords. Classical music normally comes in scores and reading them is going to take some getting used to.

also you must be prepared to put ur pick aside and start learning to pluck with your fingers. but all these said, any kinda of music experience is going to help u when u learn new stuff. how easy it actually gets really depend on individual ^^

have fun learning =)
