how is the tone?

yup i am also interested in the tone, does it sounds like normal ''coated'' strings? how long does the coated glow last btw?

tone is more bass-y, the range is 105-45, thicker than my previous ernie ball strings. if you're a slappy player, this is probably not for you. had to readjust the neck a bit to accommodate the thicker E string.

i haven't tried the glow yet, i shall see soon though

bought the DR neons online.. much cheaper. davis sells it at 65 i think. i got it below 50. looks stunning under black/blue light. orange coating came off after about a month tho.

yup i just bought the green 1 too, sounds great to me, not that normal roundwound string. But still sound surprisingly bright. Just my 2cents though "the feel of the strings seem to be slimy to me". Maybe its just me haha. Was thinking of ordering online next time when i purchase this string =)

anyone tried aurora? i saw davis sell aurora string also. Just bought my neon dr there. Sounds great, very bright to my ears but it is not that normal roundwound string sound. Feel kinda smoother to my finger also haha.

Was thinking anyone ever purchase aurora? compare between the two haha.
