anyone here really bother to practise in all 12 keys?

hmmm... do you focus only 1 key each time during practise or focus on each scale pattern and practise across 12 keys? Which is a much better way to practise and memorise the fretboard?

well for me, i've more or less adapted a certain way of playing which sort of allows me to play the way i usually do across different keys through identifying patterns and stuff, though this way limits the creative mind uh sometimes. lol. you could just play the same song, but transpose it into different keys, you'll be surprised at how you would improvise over different keys

Learn all keys all die. Good thing guitar is the best instrument if you dont want to tak chek so much, just memorise shapes. But where's the real fun in that if you sound the same in all keys all the time? And you better put in the effort if not you will pay later.

Don't want to be a rubbish cleaner right?

Yeah.. what I learnt was to remember the shapes and how to apply it to what shape to use is what key etc.. That should enable you to play across the fretboard instead of practising every single key.
