Anyone here owns a Fernanades with Sustainer?

E : Expression of both the Sustainer and Harmonizer, something new to me.
A : Audio generation, i.e. how clean is the sound cos the PUPs look hot!
D : Design as in the layout - seems complex at first sight.
G : Genre that it is produced for.
B : Build, as in the construction of the guitar with ref to the neck and appearance.
E : Ebony fingerboard, I have never used one before.

what would you like to know?

is it possible to install just one sustainer pup maybe at he neck and the bridge wud be an active pup?

and it also sustains natural harmonics rite?

Can't answer your question but wow, this is one of the most thought-out responses to "what would you like to know?" I've ever seen on SOFT. Refreshing compared to the "iz it gud??"s all the time. :)

Thank you for the comment. I've high regards for the S.O.F.T. community. It is interesting to note that replies by certain members give high visibility to the thread, you included.

It's quite tough to answer your questions in words. Let me try my best.

Two different things like Apples & Oranges. However in both cases, you could try them and definitely come to a conclusion.

It's not muddy as far as I know.

D : Design as in the layout - seems complex at first sight.
Need to drill extra holes in the body (irreversible). There are other alternatives.

G : Genre that it is produced for.
Anything.

B : Build, as in the construction of the guitar with ref to the neck and appearance.
Neck size and appearance = personal preference. If you are referring to build quality, expect no less from a MIJ guitar.

E : Ebony fingerboard, I have never used one before.
Try one & you will know.

The best way is to try the guitar out yourself. You could head down to Guitar Connection and try out their Fernandes hide signature model.

I wouldn't recommend that you just head down there to try for the sake of trying. It's not very nice and the chances that you might encounter a bad experience is quite high.

Hope this helps.
