I want to start out with playing guitar and there is a J.Suzuki model going for $150 only...i know the sound quality is not going to be good...but does anyone know how the quality is like?
well, when i started out, everything sounds the same to my ears so i guess stuff didnt really matter that much to me. just alot of practising. have you googled anything for it?
Just make sure there's no major or minor problems. it may not have to be the best sounding one... cause i'm starting to lose interest in my darling cause she's buzzing on 2 frets...
i have that j.suzuki strat copy. i'll say its OK for a beginners guitar. i really like the action. really low and very comfortable to play with. but of course the pickups are not that good. you'll get alot of feedback on high gain. they're weak too. but i've stuck with it for say abt 2 years? did the job for me. just get another guitar once you're getting the hang of it and keep it for practice or some modifications play around.
hello! its so coincidental that i was teaching a student who had the above model of guitar!
i tried the different pickup selector settings and in a way i i found it to be not too bad sounding for a budget guitar like that. and i think the sound is crisp enough and it responds to the mellow kind of timbre that you want in a neck pickup.
overall i would say its a good guitar to start learning electric till you are confident enough to want to buy a higher end guitar.
