when i sing a song , when im using my chest voice and when i cant use it anymore it will move to a higher pitch rite? i wnna know how do i move smoothly from chest voice to a higher one. cuz i cant really pull of on my chest voice. any solution?

Have you got a recording of yourself singing through your break point? Maybe i can hear something in the recording that's stopping you moving through smoothly. Best would be a simple vowel like "ah".

Gotta practice legatos between your chest and head voice, up and down. Don't go over or under your range, work within your natural range and keep your breath supported; don't force if you run out.

Personally.. I feel it's better to start with closed vowels like "oo" and "ee" first cos there's less space in the mouth so you can focus on just working on making the legatos smooth first and get the ball rolling from there.. once you've got that bits knacked, you can try the "ah" vowel.. just how I do it, don't know if it might work for you but give it a shot. :)

There's no shortcut to getting past that chest+head voice transition tho, every singer has to overcome that in time so keep practicing, it'll smoothen out one day. :) Good luck!

i really enjoy singing a song.but i sings bad.do you help me

You just have to keep practicing sweetie... If you enjoy singing it shouldn't be hard to keep practicing :) If you need help, you might want to look for a vocal teacher to coach you cos we (the postees) are behind a monitor screen here chatting with you and can't train you in person :P

I'm 100% with you on the "oo" and "ee" there sage .. they are much more effective for training.

The reason I ask for "ah" is to hear what's wrong. Actually I am just following my teacher on that one, as he starts with "ah" for every student :)
