An acoustic guitar with pickups is simply called 'acoustic guitar with pickups'. Do check out City Music's year end sale, they have plenty of acoustic with pickups on sale. Head over there and try them out yourself.

*Anyway, it is not called semi acoustic. You can called it "Acoustic Guitar with pickups" as wat billthegeek mentioned or a better term is "Electric-Acoustic" or "Acoustic-Electric" Guitar.
