Went for the two Deep Purple ones? Steve was AWESOME! He knew when to throw down his technical shit with good ol' riff rock and crowd pleasers. Was the star in the band in my opinion after Don Airey.

Don played in the 2nd DP gig in SG ... hahah I was Riki Hendrix guitar tech & I was backstage at most 20 feet away from Morse the entire show .... what an unforgetable night ...

The legendary John Lord played in te 1st gig ..

Many years ago DP with Blackmore on guitar played at national stadium -I lost my liking for Blackmore when he threw a tantrum, threw his guitar down on stage and walked off...

Somehow my brain thought that Don played for both. I cant seem to remember Jon! Was it a white ponytailed dude? My brain's are dying.

Yeah lots of people here had a bad taste on Blackmore's behaviour that day.

But after all this, Tommy Emmanuel's 3 concerts here were all the BESTEST you can get. Truly entertainment, education and love. Money absolutely well spent.

And Pat Metheny F*** the World man. Unbelievable.
