An "indie music" perspective: Poetry, Bowie, The Beatles, Foals, Joy Division, etc.
Hi there, this post is for any of you out there that are wanting to come together to form (somewhat of) a band (you know your guitars, bass, drums, and vocals), blending in with your love for some poetry, literary heroes, favorite bands and films that spark that creativity for wanting to create tunes and melodies.
Just to name a few things you might like too:
1) The Beatles White Album (A never-ending decision really for a fav of theirs)
2) Albert Camus/Jack Kerouac/Franz Kafka/Virginia Woolf
3) Echo and The Bunnymen, Blur, Fontaines D.C., The Velvet Underground, Miles Davis, The Smiths, Elvis, Pink Floyd, etc.
