An Encounter with Akihiro Tanaka and the Yamaha L-Series @ Asian Civilisation Museum, Ngee Ann Auditorium On 25 August 2008, Monday, 7.00pm

Based in the ancient city of Kyoto, Japan, Akihiro Tanaka is working to expand his presence in the guitar performance scenes around the world. He is acclaimed not just for his technique, but for the tones and songs that stimulate the mind of his audience. His vivid and fun performances has also gained him recognition around the world. In September 2008, he is scheduled to perform at the Walnut Valley Festival in Kansas, USA. Tanaka has released his first solo album "Phrasicology" this April 2008.
