Anyone knows of this amplifier called Roland cube 15? Its a 15 watts amp.

My friend just bought it for $150 in Swee Lee... But I'm not sure if its a good deal... Cos imma get one as well...


Any comments on it? Is it a good brand?

150 shld be pretty alright. I've got the 30 watt version. Yea it's quite a nifty little amp with so many good sounds to play with. And the clean is very clean...abit too clean tho haha.

Personally i feel that if u are just starting out it will be a good buy. It's very good for experimenting with all the sounds and finding the tones that u like. It's like the step before u dabble into pedals. But after sometime u will grow out of it and start buying real efx.

Personally i'm still using this amp and i bring it for jams everytime. And when i feel lazy to plug in all the efx and cables i just switch it to the rectifier mode and all hell breaks loose haha.

It's very fun. I love my cube

Depends what kind of music you want to play.

Roland Cube is best for a clean sound and is used for jazzy styles (at least the one I had in 1985 for a while was)

The original was a good amp. It was discontinued for a while but is now back with some kind of modelling technology onboard which will probably improve it.
