Amp Repair

hi all

My 20W Laney Crunch amp the input area for inserting the jack have some problems. No sound could be heard and i need to press the jack harder for the amp start to produce sound. Where or how could i repair it? is there any recommend shop for repairing? how much they charge for repairing amp for this type of problem?

This is what I did.I dismantle the head and brought it to Sim Lim tower,go to basement turn left.and walk to the end.ask the shop if they do soldering and ask them to change your jack input.cost me $7.00.Guitar shop $50.00

If you read alias' post he already said, around 50 bucks, but it's best you call and ask.
SA is located at peninsula basement. Walk around and you'll find it.
I second alias' solution. Simple, effective and cost-efficient.

Simple job...if u are in Hougang...will do it for you for a pack of cigarette and pokka green tea.
