I'm planning to get either of the 2 mics stated above, namely the AKG Perception 220 or the Shure Beta 87a Vocal Microphone. From youtube videos and online reviews they seem to be very good mics but which would be better for rock vocals?
I'm planning to do a recording through the Line 6 Toneport UX2 Interface (With +48 Phantom Power). I URGENTLY need people's opinion, preferably from those who have either of these equipment.
