Akai MPC

Does anyone know where else to get Akai mpc in S'pore beside Sinemax?(they're way overpriced).Thanks.

yeah sinamex has always been really shitty about the mpc pricings. They essentially refused to bring in the mpc1k for months (poss years ??? ok maybe a year) after it's release, probably because of being afraid that it would cannibalise their 2k sales. Not that there was any to begin with.

supposedly roger linn and dave smith will be coming up with a drum machine next year. Roger linn was a key designer of the mpcs.

guess i would have to try looking at overseas for the mpc. Seems like not alot of people here even have an idea of what it is, thats why the market isnt present, so sinemax could jacked up the price since there's no competition.
