Background:
Hey! Shaun here. I will be offering lessons for Beginners and Intermediate players. Jazz and blues are my favorite genres. I also have a reasonable amount of experience playing live from weekly performances in places such as Balaclava, Chijmes, Chimes (Katong). Thus, i am also confident in coaching aspiring guitarists with songs from the Evergreen era to the Present. Private lessons have also been given for the past 3 years, giving me practical experience on what all aspiring guitarist want to learn or need to learn, whether it be from rock, metal or fingerstyle/jazz/bluesy genres. What you will learn:
Depending on your level of playing, the lesson plan will vary.
I will cover the technical aspect and theoretical aspect of the guitar (scales, modes, CAGED system, Chord Substitutions/Embellishments, Basic chord tones, Etc etc etc). I will try my utmost best and am sure to guide you in your musical direction whatever genre it may be.
Rates:
$30/lesson beginners (individual) (weekly) $35-$40/lesson Intermediate (Individual) (weekly)
$20/lesson beginners (Group) (weekly) $30-35/lesson intermediate (Group) (weekly)
Lessons time varies according to how long a student takes to learn the lesson plan. (1hr to 1 hr 30mins)
All lesson prices will be reduced by $5 after 20 lessons. (As a sign of encouragement as there will be guaranteed improvement by then, if you practice hard).
