acoustic string

hi, i'm totally newbie to guitar. bought a set of ghs string and wana change the string but when put in the string, the uncoated area near the ball end (abt 3 cm) come out from the bridge.. so .. how ah??

is your guitar the type with pins or just the bridge???? take a pic if you can

Bridge Pins not secured? Not inserted into the guitar enough?

If i'm not wrong, most guitars the same, especially those restring in the factory also have this problem, but if its not so much coming out nvm, cuz u can expect a damn tight fit of the bridge pins right?

If too tight, wouldn't that harm the top wood instead?

Another reason would be the height of the saddles, if its too high, string slipping would also increase, if its low, as near to 90degrees as possible, string slippage would decrease.
