Acoustic recording di box?

Am still new to recording, just bought a protools LE, Mbox2 mini system to a macbook. Short question, I plugged in the my acoustic to an outboard preamp (does not have a di out) and straight into the mini. Do i need to invest in a di box or just use the line in?

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the world of ProTools You will not need to purchase a DI Box, as the MBOX 2 has switchable inputs that can be changed from a Mic to a DI. The MBox 2 also give you 48V Phantom Power supply in case you have any microphones that require this... In short, you are set.
