acoustic playing

Hi, i have been playing for quite awhile now.
but recently i aiming to learn acoustic properly
as i know acoustic and electric has different technique etc.

may i know what to learn for acoustic??
for example some scales??
or other picking techniques??

not classical but acoustic..
something like eric clapton's acoustic versions..

okay so you would be playing unplugged then. first of all, no major difference, except maybe the neck scale is a little wider. as for scales and and techniques. doesn't differ for both electric or acoustic. unless you're gonna play finger picking.

at 1st i though that different techniques and scales give the 2 the different feel and sound.
i noe the instruments are different..haha..

clapton? blues and rock. major scales used would be the penta and the blues scales. trying learning both the major and minor penta.
