Can anyone introduce a acoustic guitar for someone who wants to learn? His budget is about $300. Learning to play for his church... So I'm helping him o get some infomation on it... Thanks!

Note: He doesn't have any knowledge on guitars at all...

i'd recomand yamaha APX 300... its a lil off the budget, but you might be able to get it second hand at this price...

hmmm, fina is good, u can find them at davis.. it is relatively cheaper and it has pretty good sound.. it's good for beginner i guess.

otherwise, jus meddle around. jus make sure the harmonics sound is good, bridge not too high for easier play and of cos it must feel good to you. if u not sure u can always try a high-end guitar first and compare with the one u think u might one to buy and see if it varies alot.

with some effort i think u can find a good guitar within the budget.

maybe you can find some ovations around 500 in citymusic, off the budget but ask your friend borrow from his parents or something... i mean its ovation, you can just use it for your whole lifetime, in the studio, on the stage, at gatherings...

if u r not looking for any branded stuffs ... NIKKI - S$136/-
i've saw this ovation with electronic at this shop just opps guitar connection. at excelsior

i'm not too sure if it's good ... but if i wanna play for a church, i might wanna consider 1 acostic guitar that can b pluck into an amp.

just my 2¢

The Maestro SD-1 also comes with pickup. If i'm not wrong, it's SD-1CEQ. I think it's going for $329. Quite good also =)

at Maestro guitar?

It is at Exclusior hotel basement, together with Luther Music, Guitar 77, Guitar Connection etc.

It's near Funan Centre and Pennisular Hotel

Cheers
