Hi all, I'm Marc, 22 this year, and I have played the acoustic guitar for about 5 years, during which I have played in church occasionally and the odd gig. I have also been working on songwriting.
Ideas I'm open to:
1) collaborating with a female singer-songwriter to form an acoustic duo, doing covers and/or originals. not too keen to form a full band too soon, though I might change my mind. A few artists I like: RHCP, Wilco, Belle and Sebastian, My Little Airport, The Decemberists, Vaselines, Fleet Foxes, The Strokes, The Great Spy Experiment, Vampire Weekend, Death cab for Cutie, The National, Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Magic Numbers, The Beatles, Sigur Ros, Weezer.
2) forming a contemporary Christian band. I am greatly inspired by the Hillsong Chapel series, and to some extent Jars of Clay and Lifehouse.
