Hi guys,

I have a custom acoustic guitar that requires action lowered and refretting.
Can anyone recommend a bang-for-the-buck guitar repair place i can go to?
Cheap and good?

Kinda tight on my budget.:(

Thanks in advance!

Look for this chap, Beez ... great guy, very helpful too and . Best you call him before setting up an appointment. The shop may great crowded at times. So, its better to just drop him a line before popping, just in case. He is a One Man Operation.

lower action can do yourself, not difficult, i did mine.

refret you can just do the 1st 5 frets as these are the most frequent played once if you just strum chords. it shld set you back to around $100.

go to raymond from luthermusic

I usually go to TYMC at Peninsula for my electric/acoustic needs. Price is competitively reasonable and I've had nothing but good experiences with their service so far.

Thanks alot or the input guys! Much appreciated! Ill take a look at one of these places.

Seems to me, works and prices are pretty standard. It's just customer loyalty.

You can try Jarvis who works from home, but is every bit the consummate professional about acoustic guitars. He's not that cheap (a basic setup costs $80) but he's my man for any sort of acoustic guitar work that doesn't require extremely extremely high levels of skill because of his knowledge, attention to detail and love for acoustic guitars. You can contact him at 97608127.
