I have learn classical guitar in yamaha awhile ago. It was a couple of years back then and i do not have the time to continue. But now, I wanna pick up guitar again, learning it myself. With a budget of $100 to $300/400. Please help me by recommending some guitars!!. Solid top preferred and i do not think i need to plug it in to any amps what so ever, cause i'll just be practising at home. thank you guys. I've done some research but there are just too many brands around. :!::!::!: If possible, tell me where to get the guitar too. your help is much appretiated.. (:

Do a search on this thread. There has been many folks like yourself asking for help on the same need.

Then go to music row to see what's available. Spend a couple weekends or more, or if your a student, every other day. (Hehe)

You can never go wrong with Yamaha acoustics in the entry level range. Go play some at Plaza Sing to get a feel.

i would recommend Takamine,Maestro(Made in Singapore).
Maestro can be found at esplanade and Park Lane Mall.
Takamine at Davis Peni Plaza.

best advice i can give u is to go to shops and try em out whats important is that yr comfortable and u love the sound
im sure u've heard of this saying "one man's meat is another mans poison"

my damn beat up yamaha f310 which im selling at only 200

shameless self promotion aside im most impressed with the yamaha guitars for your budget

for around 300, J&D DG108, for around 400, Crafter GA7/6 or D7/6 depending on your personal preferences
