I'm offering lessons for anyone looking to pick up or improve on pop, rock, blues, funk and fingerstyle guitar, or that feels that their playing is stuck in a rut.
I've had close to five years of experience playing the guitar, and am currently a full-time musician, performing regularly to audiences numbering from the hundreds to the occasional thousand.
Lessons would be focused on helping you improve your technique, your musicality, your musical knowledge (music theory), and your aural ability. Sight-reading basics will also be covered. There will be song studies and line studies (licks from stylistic players), where we'll sit down and analyze harmonic and melodic meaning in an aim to first internalize it, and consequently, to have it be a part of our own playing and song-writing vocabulary.
The syllabus will be different for each student, with it being structured around your needs, musical aspirations, and musical preferences.
Notes and practice material will be provided. Do drop me a PM, an email, or text with a brief write-up of what you wish to learn, to get an idea of what the syllabus would be like. I also have sample notes available for viewing.
On a final note, I am unable to provide lessons from my place; as such I would be traveling to your location for lessons.
