acoustic bass ?

i saw a few acoustic basses in singapore.
these are not available in singapore right?
what's so diff between that and normal bass?

I've seen a few around. One at City Music, one at Synwin, one at Davis... they're not exactly popular, but if you want something that sounds really big, airy and thumpy - you might want to check out an ABG. It's also probably the closest you'll come to sounding like a DB... although I'm sure the DB players here will have something to say about that
