Could you provide us with your perspective on what "affordable" means? After all, one such word means a whole different world between the average student and the affluent adult.

well my definition of affordable would hav to be bout 500 bucks with chords bk, tuner, gig bag and evrythin.

So I would imagine you're looking for a place whereby you could get a package of guitar + accessories (all that you mentioned above like chord books etcs)?
Well... you could try Guitar Workshop.. nice range of axes to choose from. Or you could skip over to Ranking or even music ensemble (that is if you can live with a brand called daisy rock which is marketed at girls, but highly playable guitars) 8O

sweelee has the starters pack. But the amp&guitar isn't that good. Try Davis for better guitar packs.
