Hi new here...

just wondering if anyone could recommend a reasonably (and affordable) good DI or gear for accoustic guitar to improve the sound when plugged into house system like a church's?

so far the recommendations are Behringer ADI 21 at Luther and L R Baggs @ Davis.

anyone tried the Sansamp Para DI Driver? Can't seem to find it at the usual guitar shops?

BTW, my axe is fitted with the Fishman Prefix.

i am using the ADI and it sounds decent. have played thru the Lr Baggs as well as the sansamp acoustic DI oso..of course the they do sound better.. but for the price of the ADI ( mass produced in China) it does the trick..it does balance up your signals..

they eat up batteries like nobody business

Hi,
Has anyone had problems with the Baggs paracoustic not having a ground lift and getting a lot of hum? That might be a problem...
If not, any other suggestions?

Has anyone done a comparo between the Sansamp Acoustic DI and the Baggs? or the Behringer?

i was at the same concert... and read on his website that he just uses his guit into a tuner into the DI...

Actually, I thought his sound was a bit harsh. Seemed like he needed a compressor. For all the aura surrounding Kent Morris, I thought the sound had too much highs... maybe I just haven't lost my hearing yet...

really?? hmm.. i thot the guitar sounded pretty good. :) Did u notice his guitar was a thinline series(eg. like the yamaha apx)? Perhaps that's why it sounded a bit sharper..

edit: oic, or were u referring to the overall mix? hmm... maybe i've lost my hearing.

oh yah, now i remember.. he uses mcpherson guitars.
