as in like ur vibrato-ing too fast? changing the pitch too fast. Slow it down cuz a fast vibrato doesnt really fit the song. im not trying to bust ur chops btw, cuz u obviously practised quite alot.

Yo bro! Good Effort. Just a tip, ur notes, i tot it could be cleaner. and the articulation need to be improved. but again, my hats off to u for taking this effort and courage to do this song! i am looking forward on ur another attempt on this song. Jia You my fren!

hey simon! yup thx alot for the encouragement. ahah. i was expecting a beating from ya guys. didnt really think it was up to standard this time. hmm alright. i'll definitely make a new video on this when i have the time. thx lots again!

haha wow i really appluad your patience....For me i got no patience to sit down and learn covers by guitar virtuosos......hehe

lol its more of the practice than the learning. frankly, this song was quite easy to learn but its the clarity of the picking that kills me in this song. real hard to get. lols.

haha thats cool my friend....well its JP we'r talking about here....he picks like the devil!

I normally listen to these virtuosos to steal their licks.....and make them my own.

Hi,

Nice try there, you're only 16 and already trying out JP's stuff.

The intro should be all alternate picked rather than sweeped, coz all the notes are accented at the first beat of each triplets; can't really accent with sweeping. Work with the metronome, it helps alot!

haha yeah it should be picked not sweeped. I got a tip for you. try an upstroke instead of down when going between strings. gilbert style.

Gilbert style on a Petrucci song?
Blasphemy! lol...

Seriously, just use the sequence down-up-down-up etc for the intro and you're good to go!

haha its up to you really, but i find gilbert's style more economical compared to just strict alt picking.
