A query about BOSS ME-50 (Multi-Efx).

Hello.

Recently, I bought an adapter from Mustapha Centre.

The output of the adapter I bought is 9V and 500mA. And it only has one input jack.

But, it is stated that ME-50 needs 9V and 120mA to work. I'm just not sure if I could use the adapter I got cause it can give off current of up to 500mA? I haven't tried it yet cause I'm scared that the adapter might fry my pedal. Probably cause it's a cheap adapter($12).

Anybody who knows and can help me out here?

The current rating is a maximum. You fx will draw a maximum of 120mA, the power supply will supply at maximum of 500mA. 120mA is less than 500mA so you are good to go in terms of current ratings.

Your $12 supply probably doesn't have a regulator or much filtering so it might be noisy.
