A customs and avedis. DIFF?

hey my cymbals are zildjian A customs avedis

is there a diffrence between A customs and avedis? cuz i saw other cymbasl which aren't A customs having the avedis imprint on them.

hey thanx for the link. but not really answering my question.
i don't need to know the characteristics of the different cymbals.

i just wanny know y is the word AVEDIS printed on other cymbals which i saw which aren't A customs.

btw i'm using A customs cymbals.

(actually.. i kinda find my question quite stupid now.. oh well..)

sorry if i am wrong. AVEDIS ZILDJIan is the name of the founder? i think there were a few founders. like robert zildjian. thats my GUESS!

Zildjian has the A (Avedis) series, and also A Custom series..

Avedis (A) is one of the original series of Zildjian Cymbals. Avedis Zildjian is the name of the founder of the Zildjian Company.

A Custom is a modern and updated version of the A series. It is buffed brilliant to give a brighter sound.

Zildjian has a total of 6 main series currently.
A (Avedis)
A Custom
K (stands for Kerope)
K Custom
Z Custom
FX (all other effect models have been grouped in here incl. REMIX, AZUKA, ORIENTAL etc)...

wow dude thanx that lightened it up abit. but one thing. my cymbals have the words A custom. but it also has the word Avedis on it.. A customs avedis? :roll: (it's my ride cymbal and my splash btw)

all zildjian cymbals have the word avedis zildjian on it. i tink it is just a stamp.
