the RG7321 is a good choice, especially if you don't whammy. the last time i enquired, it lists for slightly more than $600. my only gripe with it is that it doesn't even come with a bag...

another recommendation: look for used RG7620/ 7621 (both discontinued).
these are worth every cent because they are simply superb players, came with default Dimarzio humbuckers & hard case. the 7321 only appeared after the 7421 was discontinued. having tried one, i'd say that they play very well, even the default humbuckers aren't too shrieky like other generic Ibanez units. of course, the above-mentioned 7620/ 7621 came in black/ red/ gray...

i'd recommend the current RG1527 which supersedes the 7620 but the pickups are default Ibanez ones... an acquired taste
