age can somehow mislead too..
just cuz its a yr old doesnt meant its a nice peice.. some guitars (second hand) agedeven younger than that can be pretty quite beat up peices.. and some older peices may even look brand new (with proper care)
true... it got a small dent at the pin that put the strip, a little one.. then the metal part on the body that support the strings got abit rust too... offer me SGD800... fair?
rust, can be cleaned(i think), if its a 1cm diameter dent, 800 bucks should be ok... however, when i buy 2nd hand guitars, the bridge doesn't really bother me, unless its SUPER rusty...
a reputable guitar with a matching brand name will be worth more than half its price in the after-market, however, this is too subjective. it all depends on the circumstances- condition being the primary concern.
Gibson & Fender retain at least 70% of their initial prices but it all boils down to the circumstances.
