25k or 250k EBVPjr or Boss FV-500H/L in signal chain?

I've been reading up on volume pedals and how they're used in a signal chain from TGP, soft, and all that, but it's only left me more confused.

Hope you people can chime in on my problem!

I have this signal chain, and i want to use my volume pedal for overall volume control, and swelling into delays.

I hope someone can help me ascertain the right impedance to use. I'm fine with either the Boss or EBVP.

SIGNAL CHAIN:
Korg Pitchblack -> Vox 847Wah -> Timmy -> Fulldrive2 -> Boss CE-5 -> VOLUME PEDAL HERE -> TC Nova Delay

Also, is it more advisable to place the VP before the chorus?

I would place the Boss 500H after the pitchblack, since the signal is still in high impedance, and from what I have read,correct me if I'm wrong, but once your signal goes through your dirt pedals and all that, your signal changes to low impedance, hence at where you plan to place your pedal, you should use a low impedance pedal.
Placing your VP at the start at the chain will cause it to act more like your guitar volume knob. IMO volume swells will sound better when your VP is placed after your dirt.
