Anyone know how to do this? I got a carvin nomad 112 2 channel amp and 2 guitars. My friend doesn't like to lug an amplifier to my place so how do you do this?

1)Splitter:That's a splitter might work I guess but since your cables are 1/4" ones you'll need adaptors for it unless your splitter is also 1/4".

2)You can use a Mixer, connect 2 inputs into the mixer and send the output into the amp.

3)You can get a Pod X3 Live which allows you 2 connect 2 different instruments with 2 different signal chain.

4)Use your computer speakers?

5)If your amp has a MP3 in, you might be able to use that too. So 1 guitar through the normal input, 1 into the CD/MP3 in.

1) I saw one of those at ranking with the instrument cable size jacks... I asked the lady at the counter about it, she said that I should go find a "MONO" one, as the splitter there was for "STEREO" (It said so on the thing lol)

2) What's that :P

3) Somehow this sounds like a costly method lol

4) The speakers of my computer suck. They're soft too. 5 watt vs 50 watt?

5)It's a full-tube amp lol :P

This is a mixer, as you can see it has alot of inputs and outputs, knobs and stuff. This particular one also acts as an audio interface for your computer through firewire. However its better to connect to PAs or Monitors, not sure if the mixer method will actually allow 2 guitars to harness the capabilities of the amplifier properly. :) If not you can just scout for a 2nd hand Marshall MS-2.
