It was after this performance, Akira Jimbo and Hiroyuki Noritake felt the chemistry and went on to form a drum duo called Synchronized DNA. Go check out their drum duo performances. Very musical

anyway phil collins of genesis has done this many times too...not surprising. just needs a hell lot of practice and coordination. check out jimbo and noritake's synchronized DNA. amazing..

this jimbo/noritake project is now stable, think they have a summer tour every year. they started collaborating during 2004 when casiopea did a joint concert with t-square (japanese fusion band)

in this collaboration, noritake mentioned jimbo was one of his hero and it was a dream come true to work with someone he consider "his sensei" (he frequently calls him that in the videos)

the chemistry between them is really good... i've been collecting all their dvds :mrgreen:





jimbo has just played another "2 drumset" item with terry bozzio titled "JimBozzio", how io wished i could have been there.

bozzio is in japan for a whirlwind tour, his schedule included:

- 2 drumset with akira jimbo "JimBozzio"

- 2 drumset with Billy Cobham

- Performance with Tony Levin, Pat Mastoletto (another drum great), allan holdsworth
