<<Not Looking At Trades>>
This is a rare Taylor Grand Concert (full solid Western Cedar top and a Claro Walnut back/sides). Only in production for 3 years and made in El Cajon, California in 1998. Final year of production was in 2000 before Taylor ran out of the select Claro Walnut material that went into the building of these beautiful W12 series guitars.
Comes with an equally classy original Taylor plush poodle hard case, no electronics/pick-up. This aged wood beauty with top of the line Taylor 9 series appointments does not come very often and this is a great opportunity for you to own it.
SPECIFICATIONS
The body, rosette, headstock and fingerboard of this guitar are all bound in ivoroid and beautifully inlaid with abalone, the very same appointments found on classic high end 900 series Taylors from that era. This guitar has the old style neck which is made from one solid piece of mahogany. Nut width is 1 3/4". Original tusq saddle upgraded to FMI.
CONDITION
9.5/10, very minimal user marks with 1-2 tiny dings on the top surface. Overall very well maintained for a guitar this age and kept in casing with dry packs when not in use. Dehumidified on a quarterly basis to avoid damage from Singapore's humid weather.
ASKING PRICE / CONTACT
Asking for S$3,300. Get in touch with me at 8-One-000-Five-18 for a non-obligatory try-out at the Newton area.
