Greetings folks, Letting go an absolutely beautiful looking and sounding stratocaster. 1996 Sonic Blue American Standard strat with maple board.
It's in immaculate condition- lightly played, No dings, dents, wear, damage, repairs, etc...Bought it at Swee Lee when it was at Takashimaya Shopping Centre in 1996.
The tone is Punchy, Sweet and Balanced. Guitar feels like new,This guitar has open up and it sound great. I imagine the more it's played the better it will get. Maple neck has naturally ambered to a nice woody color through the years. Body has naturally aged to very nice sonic blue/surf green color. Comes with receipt and 90s fender manuals.no fret wears and jumbo frets are shiny.
Played only at home.
All original parts except:
1) Upgraded with Callaham steel block, saddles and springs and tremolo arm (Callaham system purchases from SV guitars) .Callaham upgrades translates to a very lively instrument. One of the first things you notice about this guitar (after it's stunning looks) is how loud and lively it feels against your body.
2) Pickups upgraded to Jason Lollar Dirty Blonde set.
3) original case damaged and I have a fender American case included in.
4) correct capacitors replaced as original no longer working
5) orange drop capacitor.
6) Kluson tuners.
Letting go as I realized and enjoy telecasters. Comes with paper works. Letting to at $1600/-. Price is firm because it sounds great, plays well and it's 18 years old. Not keen for trades and not in rush to sell. interested, pls watsapp to den at 90179293. Cheers. Pics avail.
