Hey people !
I'm still quite new in Soft.com.sg. I have sold both my e-drums and home recording equipments away in my first month of using Soft.com.sg, which is around January. This is my third month using Soft.com.sg, and I am an inexperienced drummer. I am 20 years old this year, Chinese, Christian, and I play the drums for a year already. I sold my e-drums and home recording equipments and bought a 7 piece 22" TAMA Superstar Hyperdrive drum kit, and I am enjoying it a lot ! I am hoping to play in a band for experience. My favourite genres are J-rock, rock, pop rock and metal. I can't play double pedals well yet. I am passionate about drumming and I am always seeking improvements. I even bought Cobus Method DVDs, hoping to boost my skills in drumming. I always wanted to make drum covers, but I do not have a good quality video camera and sound recording equipments, such as drum mics.
I listen to bands like Paramore, We the kings, Linkin Park, 30 seconds to Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, Mayday parade, Black Veil Brides and many more. As for J-rock, I listen to Gazettes and other rock bands that play for Anime songs like K-on, Naruto and all. I will be heading to Malaysia for holiday and will be back to Singapore by 16 April. I am available everyday after 2pm, as I have driving courses to attend to in the morning. I just quit schooling at Republic Polytechnic and is waiting for NS enlistment. I want to stop studying something I do not really like and start pursuing music. I hope it's not too late though, hahah !
