    Some questions on bass equipment

    HI guys, Can anyone tell me what is coil tapping on the pickup means and basically what is the purpose? Also what does the overdrive, limiter enhancer and bass synthesizer do? Really wanna laern more as i'm still quite a greenhorn on bass effects. Thanks guys!

    Changing bass pickups

    Hi, I'm presently playing a Yamaha BBN4 bass and its time for me to change the pickups as the highs in the tone is gone. Is there anyone who could advice me on what pickups to use? Preferably something that's lesser than 300 bucks for a pair. Thanks. :P
