A polished vocalist, David was an alumnus of record label Ocean Butterflies’ vocal training programme, graduating
with an ‘A’ grade. He was selected to be part of Young NTUC’s performing arts group “pLaY!”, short for "Performing
with Love by Active Youths!", and came under the tutelage of renowned vocal trainer Babes Conde and theatre
veteran Jeremiah Choy, for singing and acting respectively.
In January 2007, David was invited to perform at NTUC’s Labour Movement 2011 Workplan seminar for an audience
that included Cabinet Ministers Mr Lim Boon Heng and Mr Lim Swee Say.
The 4 nights sold out NTUC musical - “Labour of Love” is David’s first big foray into musical theatre, having earned a
role in the main cast as the effervescent and charming – Danny.
Other then musical, David had many opportunities in live performances for Young NTUC’s May Day , National Day
Parade (2007 to 2013) and union related events, where he sung, dance and host at the same time.
