Got a fairly deep scratch in my brand new guitar. the lacquered material is "dented" and a shallow scratch line follows the "dent". but the wood is still good. how to remove such scratches?

one my strings on my strat is buzzing a lot more than others and it does not matter how hard I press the string. how to adjust this?

How is the quality of the MIM Fenders? The Fat Strat I saw in Swee Lee was pretty bad. The metal for the 5-way switch was corroded! Those of you who own MIM Fenders can you share your experiences? Thanks.

what is a versatile guitar (make and model) that can play many styles (country, pop, folk, jazz ,blues, rock, funk)? It need not be extremely good in any of these styles but should be good enough to play reasonably well in most styles. any thoughts? thanks. :)
